Denise Ho:

Denise Ho, Ambassador of the Xian Operation Smile International Mission, traveled to Xian in April with the team of international medical volunteers. The team provided free medical evaluations for 222 children and young adults and 166 patients received surgery thanks to Operation Smile volunteers.

She said that she will never forget the children she met during the three-day trip. She said: "I’d seen pictures before, but it’s totally different to meet face to face. The children are so brave to put up with the pain and repeated treatments, and they deserve our full support." Ms. Ho was also deeply moved by the love and dedication of the doctors and nurses. She took presents along with her. They were just small gifts, but the children were very happy to receive them.
